Zambia Institute of Architects is calling on architects and built environment professionals (Urban Designers, Planners, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Construction Managers) to submit proposals for participation in the Conference on Architecture and Urbanism: Challenges and Opportunities of Smart Cities to be held on 24th – 25th November 2021 at Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Livingstone, Zambia. All those conducting research, design works or implementing projects related to smart cities are eligible to submit their works.
Research papers will be assessed for Originality, Impact, Rigor and Communication. All submissions must be emailed or file uploaded onto the ZIA Conference website link. The main body of the submission requires the submission of:
1. Abstract (max. 300 words) or design work portfolio submission by 15th July 2021
2. Notification of abstract acceptance by 30th July 2021
3. Submission of full paper (3,000 – 5,000 words)/design works by 15th September 2021
4. Notification of paper or design work acceptance by 10th October 2021
